“Let’s Walk to the Headland”

Unexpected journeys bring a lot of joy. There is nothing quite like seeing a feature in the distant landscape and just deciding to go and have a closer look. This image celebrates coastal rambles where new perspectives are a possibility around every headland.

The Light

A momentary lull in the wind at low tide. The rocks lead your eye across the platform of the rock pools to the light above.

Flow

Water finding its path between boulders. The flora hugging the sides of the stream. Branches arching over making a green tunnel. An artwork expressing the essence of the New Zealand bush. Sit awhile and enjoy the tranquility with me.

Flux

“Who looks upon a river in a meditative hour and is not reminded of the flux of all things?” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Estuary

A very rainy holiday next to the Parapara Estuary in Golden Bay inspired this artwork, but it could be anywhere the tide moves in and out, and little houses hide amongst the foliage.

Sanctuary

An artwork about finding peace in beautiful places.
