The Campsite
A nostalgic look back to camping in the past, where tents were made of heavy canvas with wooden poles. The trees in this print tower over the campers which give a sense of protection and unease all at once. I was inspired by a photo of a campsite taken in the 1970s which included some caravans of that era too. I chose to depict only the tents to give a feeling of remoteness and adventures about to begin.
