About Cork:
– Cork is heat resistant, water resistant, antimicrobial and anti-slip
– The cork tree is the only species whose bark regenerates itself after each harvest. The bark of each cork tree can be sustainably harvested every 9 years.
These coasters are individually printed by hand using hand-carved printing blocks which are then inked and carefully run through a manual printing press to ensure a faithful transfer of the original carved design.
Due to the nature of hand printing there may be subtle variations in each coaster. This is part of the character and charm of hand printed products which you don’t get with mass produced products printed by machine.
